Campaign: O2 Rugby Heads

Brief: BrandIgnite needed 60 lively, energetic and enigmatic brand ambassadors to support the O2’s Irish Rugby sponsorship.

Solution: Imagine utilised the 1000 strong database to source 60 brand ambassadors who took to the streets of Dublin and Cardiff.

Execution: Imagine managed the brand ambassadors to ensure that logistically the campaign was a smooth operation from start to finish including a trip to Cardiff for Ireland v Wales. Over 30,000 O2 beanie hats were distributed at each of the 2007 Six Nations games.

Results: The Irish rugby fans fell in love with the rugby heads especially when they graced the hallowed turf at Lansdowne Road for the half time entertainment during Ireland v Australia in autumn 2006.
