VIVAS Health Action Week 2008 was a great success!

Over the course of the week, Imagine Marketing managed a mixture of on-street promotional activity and an all day event in the IFSC which saw Ireland's largest foosball tournament take place.

Throughout the week VIVAS Health hosted numerous events around the country, encouraging people to take control of their health!

With the help of our brand ambassadors on-street, these free events were fully booked in advance and great awareness was raised.

On Friday 18th January, 12 teams took part in the inaugural VIVAS Health Foosball Challenge 2008. A giant 50ft long Human Table Football pitch was inflated right on Mayor Square and complimentary food and drink was provided by NYG Cafe and Zumo juices.

The tournament was hotly contested over 4 hours with teams from corporate giants such as EBS, NCI, Citigroup and Daon to name a few.

EBS and Mc'Lovin' proved to be the teams to beat on the day making it to the final, with EBS winning in a gripping 4-2 finale.

Even though it rained for the majority of the tournament, this didn't dampen anyones spirits! The 2fm roadcaster was also on site and Nicki Hayes broadcast her lunchtime show live from Mayor Square. 

After winning their match, EBS kindly donated their winnings to the Irish Heart Foundation.
